Anaue Pavanello is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt competing out of Guigo Jiu-Jitsu in São Paulo, Brazil, under the guidance of black belt legend Luiz “Guigo” Guilherme.
A graduate in Physical Education, Anaue has built his career at the intersection of competition and coaching — specializing in functional training and physical conditioning for high-level grapplers. Alongside Guigo, he helped guide the development of black belt world champion Meyram Maquiné Alves in the lead-up to her promotion. (BJJ Heroes)
As a competitor, Anaue has tested himself against elite competition at the black belt level, including a bracket appearance in the medium-heavyweight division at the IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship. (FloGrappling)
His approach reflects the identity of the academy that produced him — technical, disciplined, and built on pressure.
As a Bighorn athlete, Anaue represents the coaching and competitive depth behind the sport — the work that happens on the mats long before fight night.
