João Pedro Nicolite Rocha is a high-level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor known for his disciplined approach, pressure-based style, and ability to perform across both gi and no-gi competition.

Coming up through Brazil’s competitive circuit, João built his foundation through years of structured training and consistent competition. Focused on control, timing, and precision, his game is built to hold up in high-pressure matches against elite opponents.

That consistency led to a breakout year in 2023, where he finished as the #1 ranked brown belt heavyweight in both gi and no-gi — a rare accomplishment that highlighted his versatility and dominance across formats.

Following his promotion to black belt, João immediately stepped into top-level competition, earning a bronze medal at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship and continuing to build momentum on the international stage.
