About Joseph Snyder

Joseph “Mini Money” Snyder is a fast-rising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling competitor known for his relentless pace, high-percentage submissions, and fearless approach to competition at every level.

Born in Moline, Illinois, Joseph grew up around martial arts before relocating to Matthews, North

Carolina, where he began training full-time — often taking multiple classes a day while balancing school.  That work ethic carried him through the ranks, and he was promoted to purple belt in December 2024. (Smoothcomp)

Competing out of Pyles Jiu-Jitsu under the Lucas Lepri Jiu-Jitsu banner, Joseph has built a résumé that includes gold at the IBJJF Gi Pan Championship, gold and bronze finishes at the IBJJF No-Gi Pan Championship, and back-to-back bronze medals at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship.

He's also stepped onto the biggest stages in submission grappling, competing across multiple ADCCsanctioned opens — including the Miami Open, the USA Charlotte Open, and the USA Atlanta Open — while building his own platform as the owner of Scrap Superfights. (FloGrappling)
