About Kaleah Dee Pyles

Kaleah “Dream-Snatcher” Pyles is a rising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor known for her relentless pace, submission-heavy style, and poise under pressure at every level of competition.

Training out of Pyles Jiu-Jitsu in Mount Airy, North Carolina — an academy owned and run by her father and head instructor, Kevin Pyles — Kaleah has been on the mats since age 3, building her foundation through daily reps long before most competitors even start. (Mount Airy News)

Her breakout moment came at the 2024 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship in Las Vegas, where she submitted Brazil's Nicolly Kethelen de Assis e Silva to become the first competitor from North Carolina's Triad region to win an IBJJF World title — a follow-up to a silver-medal finish at the same event the year before.
