Morgan “Mo” Black is a black belt no-gi competitor known for pushing high-level matches into uncomfortable territory. Her game is built around pressure passing, constant movement, and forcing exchanges — never giving opponents the chance to settle.

A Colorado Springs standout, Mo has built a proven resume across IBJJF and ADCC competition, with podium finishes at the highest levels of submission grappling.

Her breakthrough on the ADCC stage came with a win at the 2023 ADCC East Coast Trials, earning her place among the world’s best. She returned to the East Coast Trials in 2025 and did it again — securing another championship and another trip to ADCC Worlds.

Mo is also a 2024 Black Belt No-Gi Worlds Silver Medalist and a 2021 Brown Belt No-Gi Worlds competitor, establishing herself as one of the most accomplished competitors in her division.
